Savannah Trolleys

The first stop on our list of Savannah area wedding favorites….trolleys. What a great way to move your wedding party from ceremony to reception, all together, open air, let the party start! Adding to the fun, trolleys make great photo ops….enjoy these.

Beautiful Savannah Weddings

Happy Monday! We want to congratulate our two wonderful couples from this weekend, Jenna & Blake and Emilee & Spencer! The weddings were beautiful and we had a great time. We would like to thank these two couples for allowing us to be part of their special days!

As with all our weddings, these two reminded us of our love for weddings in the Savannah area. This week we are going to share some of the reasons weddings in this area are so special to us, so keep an eye out!

We hope everyone is having a great week! It’s been a busy one for us preparing for two big weddings this weekend. We are ready to go and can’t wait for the main events, one at The Mansion on Forsyth and one at a private family home on the marsh!

Since it’s Friday, we’ll share a little fun. We love the southern touches our couples add to their weddings, such as cowgirl (and boy) boots! Here are a few of our favorites –

Many thanks to Becca Price Photography, Meghan Darlson, and Anna K Photography for capturing these great shots!

Have a great weekend!

Ceremony Music

Walking down the aisle to the traditional “Here Comes the Bride” or maybe you’ll choose the modern route and make your appearance to song that was playing when you first met your groom?  While years ago choice two may have raised eyebrows, it is now perfectly acceptable to add a personal touch when planning the music for your ceremony. Here are ten popular “modern” wedding ceremony songs, thanks to TLC Weddings :

10. Bittersweet Symphony – The Verve

9. Dance Tonight – Paul McCartney

8. Mama’s Song – Carrie Underwood

7. Across the Universe – The Beatles

6. Hysterics – Yeah Yeah Yeahs

5. Everlong – Foo Fighters

4. Just Like Heaven – The Cure

3. Forever – Chris Brown

2. You Are the Best Thing – Ray Lamontagne

1. Float On – Modest Mouse

Your wedding invitations are your guests’ first glimpse at what to expect on your big day. Many couples put a lot of time, and money, into the perfect invitation. Now, not only can the invitation be a reflection of the couple and their wedding day, the stamps can be personalized! We found a great website, http://weddingstamps.us/, offering the USPS wedding stamps, as well as stamps that can be personalized with pictures, monograms, dates…pretty much anything you can dream up! There is also a great guide to determine the amount of postage needed for your invitations – don’t forget to confirm the postage needed for your invitations before mailing. If you are working on wedding invitations make sure to check out this option!

Brynsley Laura Brown

We hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Yesterday we had the privilege of helping the Brown family with sweet Brynsley’s church dedication and party. It’s amazing how this 8-month old lights up the room with her smile. We had a wonderful time with the family and want to thank Brooke, Brannon, big brother Briggs, and Brynsley for allowing us to be part of such a special day.

Flower Swags

Looking to spruce up your ceremony location? Flower swags on chairs are an easy way to make a big statement. It only takes a few flowers at the end of each row of chairs, or every few rows, to personalize your ceremony venue. Here are a few favorites from our couples:

Outdoor Venues

Spring is a perfect time for Savannah’s beautiful outdoor wedding venues. The parks downtown are stunning with azaleas in bloom and the always enjoyable live oaks and spanish moss. The fountain in Forsyth Park is an added perk for a ceremony background. Enjoy the photo below of one of our couples, Caitlinn and Brian, being married in front of the fountain. Thanks to Becca Price Photography for the great shot!
