Tara Skinner

Owner + Lead Consultant + Designer

Tara Skinner, Owner & Founder of Posh Petals & Pearls and Certified Wedding Planner, is a Savannah local and resident expert on the cobblestone streets and tree-lined sidewalks of South Georgia's coastline. Tara's genuine commitment to a thoroughly planned affair proves that event planning is more than just showing up the day of your event. It's focused hard work prior to the event that leads to perfecting the details of your occasion. From traditional and elegant to fashionable and modern, Tara offers the expertise to help you plan for your big day.

Over the years, Tara's commitment to the event planning industry has afforded her access to hundreds of contacts and service providers that allow her to provide trustworthy sources for her brides and clients. Sharing her enthusiasm and skills, Tara believes that events should be designed to leave guests wanting more.

For Tara, time away from planning and coordinating means settling into the day with husband, Nathan, son, Jackson, daughter, Emerson and their two dogs- Brodie and Bailey. She can also be found browsing Pinterest, wondering through the local Savannah boutiques or whipping out the glue gun for this week's teacher appreciation or hostess gift.

Marvee McKenzie

Lead Consultant + Designer

Marvee McKenzie, Certified Wedding Planner, is excited to work with such a wonderful and highly respected team!  As a native of Americus, GA, Marvee comes from a small town that values loyalty and southern hospitality in all aspects of life.  Her love for planning and design most definitely runs in her blood, as both her grandmother and great-grandmother were each wedding coordinators as well.  After receiving a Marketing Degree from Georgia Southern University, Marvee spent the next 5 years living in Atlanta, GA, working in sales for an Atlanta Rep Agency.  As her love for event planning continued to grow, Marvee began assisting a lead wedding planner out of Atlanta, GA and knew planning was truly her calling.

Marvee became a mother to a beautiful baby girl, “Sophi”, in 2011 and still admits that being a mommy is the most challenging, but the absolute BEST job that anyone can ever have.  She enjoys spending as much time possible with both Sophi and her husband Ryan, as you can typically find them outside soaking up the beautiful weather or enjoying a laid back dinner in the heart of downtown.  Marvee is very much a family girl, so naturally she is very involved in supporting her mother’s local fabric store.  If Marvee is not preparing for an upcoming wedding, you can usually find her in the fabric store helping design beautiful living spaces for wonderful Southern clients.  Marvee’s love for design and anything that can be planned absolutely shows in her personality.  Her goal is to always be the type of person that makes other people smile and to help the wedding dreams of potential Posh Petals & Pearls clients come true.


Crystal Brooks

Lead Consultant + Designer

Crystal Brooks, Certified Wedding Planner, is a native of southern Louisiana and a true southern girl at heart whose love for fabulous celebrations and events was nurtured through the rich New Orleans culture she grew up in. With her passion for culture, style and beautiful surroundings, Crystal followed her creative vision to Savannah in 2005 to pursue her MFA in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Crystal has always been the go-to person throughout her life for planning parties and events for others. After planning her own wedding in 2013, she saw her love for planning and attention to detail beautifully come to fruition. Crystal’s love for the tiny details, exceptional organizational skills and general excitement for pretty things, makes planning the most exciting time in a bride’s life fun and enjoyable!

When Crystal isn’t planning her next themed party or stylish event, she enjoys time with her husband, Will, daughter, Stella, and their boxer puppy, Cooper. She also loves traveling whenever the opportunity arises to experience new places and gather inspiration along the way! As a lover of the beauty that the South provides, Crystal looks forward to meeting you and making your wedding day the most amazing and beautiful day of your life!


Lead Consultant + Designer

Hannah Perry, Certified Wedding Planner, a lover of the Hostess City and true Southerner at heart, was born and raised in Colorado and eventually settled in Savannah in 2014 to be with her then fiancé and high school sweetheart. 

Since the age of four, Hannah has been fascinated by all things bridal, but the experience of planning her own wedding transformed that fascination into a desire to be involved in the industry in a great capacity. Hannah became delighted by Posh Petals & Pearls while working with them for her own wedding, and her dreams of being a part of the industry came true when she became a part of the company herself. Hannah is exceptionally organized and detail oriented; she’s never met a monogram she didn’t like! This, along with her love for the industry and for developing meaningful relationships, allows her to make a bride and groom’s dreams a reality with joy and ease.

Family is at the heart of everything Hannah does so she can be found spending her free time with her hubby Jake, daughter Mary Caroline and their pup Nate. Planning weddings and events in the heart of the south is one of Hannah’s favorite life experiences and cannot wait to work with you. A wedding is the start of a couple’s forever, and Hannah is thrilled to be a part of this process with you!


Taylor Stanfield

COORDINATOR + DESIGNER

Taylor Hollingsworth, a true Southern Belle, is a native to the small town of Pembroke, Georgia with Savannah being a hop, skip and jump from dirt roads to cobblestones. Her passion for planning bloomed when she was able to team up with United Way Foundation and start a non-profit teen clothing line in her hometown. As she saw the clothing line come to life, she knew that planning was her purpose. While she organized and worked many different types of events, Taylor always had a love for weddings. Mix that in with her devotion for building meaningful relationships with clients and voilà… it was a perfect match! She pursued her passion for planning by graduating from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s in Business and emphasis in Hospitality Management. Shortly after, she joined the team at Posh Petals & Pearls and couldn’t be more thrilled!

While wedding season keeps Taylor busy, especially when one of the weddings she is planning is currently her own, she spends her spare time finding new ways to be adventurous with her creative fiancé, Matt. Family time is a must for her, whether it is playing board games or gathering for Sunday dinner after church, she loves spending timing with her family.

Taylor’s mission as a wedding planner is to take a bride and groom’s dream and make it a reality while creating peace for the couple throughout the entire planning process. For Taylor, helping create your dream wedding day paints the portrait for a marriage that lasts a lifetime and she is delighted to be apart of this adventure with you!

The hustle and bustle of our main studio is located right in the heart of downtown Savannah. It is where wedding visions and inspiration come to life on design boards, logistics are pieced together and soon to be memories are carefully thought through. It is where the Posh Petals and Pearls team comes together to learn + grow + create with each other as professionals in the wedding industry. We have even been known to throw a party or two here at the studio.....what can we say, it is the hazard of the job!
